2025 Annual Conference

August 25-29, 2025
GNOA Board is excited to announce we will be having our annual training Conference at the King & Prince Resort in St. Simon’s Island.
GNOA formed in March 2000
The Association was formed in March 2000 by a handful of veteran narcotics investigators from around the state. These investigators long recognized the need for an organization dedicated to the needs of Narcotics Enforcement. Their goal was to form an organization to provide support and improvements to law enforcement efforts in the areas of illicit drug interdiction and controlled substance abuse. They wanted to build an association that would provide cutting-edge training for its members, promote and facilitate narcotics intelligence exchange, and provides a medium for resource- sharing between law enforcement agencies throughout Georgia.
GNOA is accomplishing these goals. From the handful of charter members who put the organization together in 2000, the membership has grown to many hundreds of members. GNOA held its first training in October 2000 at no cost to attendees. The Drug Summit, as it was called, was a great success bringing together Narcotics Investigators from across the region representing city, county, state, and federal law enforcement agencies.
With generous support from the communities we serve, the Association will continue to evolve, provide novel solutions to the myriad issues of narcotics abuse, and ultimately contribute to a safer and healthier Georgia.
